Alan Bean, Lunar Module Pilot of the Apollo 12 Lunar Landing Module
Intrepid . The Apollo 12 crew accomplished the second manned moon landing
on November 19, 1969 and Alan Bean became the fourth human to set foot on
the Moon. Alan Bean, test pilot and astronaut, is also the only professional
artist to have walked on the Moon. Currently devoting full time to painting,
he chronicles Man's first exploration of another world in art from his unique
