ALFRED WORDEN AUTOGRAPHED PHOTOGRAPH. This full color official NASA Apollo 15 portrait of Astronaut Alfred M. Worden has been personally hand-signed by Al Worden, Pilot of the Apollo 15 Command Module Endeavor. The photograph is also inscribed with the flight number "Apollo 15". The Apollo 15 mission accomplished the fourth manned moon landing of the Apollo Program on July 30, 1971. Apollo 15 was the first of the three Apollo J-missions, containing a scientific experiment package in the Service Module, a Lunar Rover Vehicle, and an upgraded Lunar Module (the Falcon), with consumables for an extended lunar stay-time. On the return trip to Earth, Astronaut Worden became the first man to perform a deep-space extravehicular activity (EVA), retrieving exposed film cassettes from the scientific cameras in the Service Module at a distance of approximately 115,000 miles from the Earth. Available matted and framed with a historical plaque or unframed. Comes with a certificate of authenticity.
